TWIN FLAMES IN LOVE
The Masculine and Feminine Aspects of Being
For those readers who may think that Jesus Christ stood for subjugation of women because in the Christian religion the Creator is often referred to as "Father", and the masculine pronoun is always used, they will be interested to know that the early Christian Gnostics (who were persecuted, slain and eventually eradicated by the Church of Rome, along with almost all Gnostic gospels, epistles and testaments, save for the Nag Hammadi texts and the Essene Gospels discovered in the 20th century) taught that according to Jesus, God is both Father and Mother complete in all aspects, and is the wholeness of both the masculine and feminine principles of being, i.e. the androgynous whole.
The masculine principle is active and out-going and equates to spirit, while the feminine principle is passive and receptive and equates to matter. The soul of man and woman incarnating in matter corresponds to the feminine aspect of being. The higher consciousness, or Christ consciousness, also called the Higher Self, of both man and woman corresponds to spirit, which is the masculine aspect of being. When the duality of the Godhead is summoned, they are referred to as Alpha and Omega, our Father-Mother God.
The bible says that God is an all consuming fire (or pure spiritual energy vibrating at a higher plane and frequency than matter.) The fire of God consumes all that is unlike itself, which is not expressing the perfect patterns of creation that originate in God. The Book of Genesis relates how God made man in his image, "male and female created He them". This is the mystery of the Twin Flames of Alpha and Omega.
Every soul created has a divine counterpart, or twin flame. The real mystery is that the two are ONE. Alpha is Omega, and Omega is Alpha in the spiritual, or fiery, core of being. Yet, they each retain their individuality! Such is a mystery to be experienced rather than explained, as there is no substitute for experience. And the experience of another will not suffice for one's own. Thus, the quest for God and for twin flame is a sacred adventure!
The Godhead is one in spirit and becomes dual in matter. When we refer to God manifesting in the material universe we refer to her as the Divine Mother. The Mother Omega gives birth to the matter cosmos. The Father Alpha is called the creator because the original blueprint, thrust and impetus for creation comes from the masculine aspect of being.
It is spirit that creates matter. Matter is precipitated from spiritual energy, and is far denser than the ethereal energy comprising the energy of spirit, which coalesces around the divine blueprint for creation in the material universe. Therefore, matter vibrates at a much lower frequency. But each has its place, and Father and Mother are co-equals!
The spiritual union of Twin Flames results in creativity on a cosmic scale and can be seen to equate with the sexual union of father and mother in the planes of matter that results in the conception of the holy child.
Where love is divine and not selfish, the thought of killing the child of this union is unthinkable. When men and women gain in spiritual enlightenment and attain to the virtues of God, they become a perfect balance of both the masculine and feminine aspects of being and are loved and revered for their manifest wholeness, as can be seen in the lives of many heroic figures and saints that come from all over the world.
